My Loncon Schedule – Provisional

Looks like I’m going to have a busy morning on Saturday at Loncon3 in August. I get to spout guff about Doctor Whoish goodness and Red Wedding gore. And then sit on a panel with: an agent who rejected me, and an agent who made me an offer but whom I turned down.

These nuggets of advice and dozens like them float around the writersphere as gospel. How many of these have a ring of truth? What is the secret to finding an agent? And what does an agent do once you have one? Our agents will decrypt the process.

Well, the panel is discussion only and won’t affect the outcome of the vote. I haven’t seen Orphan Black yet but I will be watching the whole first season when the boxed set arrives. I’ve just rewatched The Name of the Doctor and will be rewatching all of the nominated programmes several times befire August. Looking forward to the discussion.

Please vote for Orphan Black. Dr Who, whilst great fun is too predictable and has become institutionalised. OB has lost it’s way slightly or is it more a case of me losing the plot(s) but it is very original.

  3. Susan May Oke says:

I’kk be there for the Agent panel, for sure.
