New Two-Book Deal

With Crossways less than 2 weeks away from publication I just got the go-ahead from my lovely agent (Amy Boggs of Donald Maass Literary) to announce this.

I have a new contract with DAW for another two books to follow on from my current three book deal! Whoo-hoo!

Nimbus will be the third Psi-Tech book and will follow on from Crossways (so I have accidentally committed trilogy). It will round off the story arc begun in Empire of Dust, but may not be the last Psi-Tech book as I have other plans for that universe. So Crossways, originally conceived as the second half of Cara and Ben’s story, has become a middle book (though never fear, it does have an ending of its own even if there’s a tiny loose thread hanging).

Then…

Silverwolf will follow on from Winterwood, my historical fantasy due in February 2016. With Winterwood still six months away from publication I can tell you that it’s a magic-pirate-adventure set in 1800 and featuring a cross-dressing privateer sea-captain, the jealous ghost of her late husband, and an annoyingly handsome wolf shapechanger who gets very upset if you call him a werewolf. There’s also a sexy pirate, a dastardly government agent steeped in the dark arts and a family problem which must be solved before an ancient wrong can be set right.

I don’t have a publication schedule for the two new books yet, but I think I’m going to be pretty busy scribbling like mad over the next few months. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m very happy!

Thanks, Morgan. The third book, Nimbus, is under contract and though I don’t have the exact publishing schedule it should be out in 2017. My next book will be Winterwood (February 2016) a historical fantasy, but still adventure…
